I also have designed and taught a variety of graduate courses in the Instructional Design & Technology doctoral programs at Johns Hopkins University and Old Dominion University, as well as National University, where I continue to teach as a part-time Associate Professor.

In addition, I am an Evaluation Analyst at the Center for Research and Reform in Education (CRRE) at Johns Hopkins University, where I conduct design reviews of various educational technologies and collaborate with stakeholders on mixed-methods evaluation and efficacy research studies. I also am Adjunct Teaching Faculty in the Ed.D. program in the School of Education at Johns Hopkins University, where I teach courses in message design, trends and issues in instructional design, and the adoption and diffusion of technological innovation.

I live in Kure Beach, NC with my wife and our four children. Aside from teaching, researching, and writing, my passions include surfing and skateboarding, both of which I get to enjoy with my kids.
